Serving inside ILPC

These are areas of serving that you can plug in to minister families at ILPC. Don't just attend church... Be the church!

  • Guest Services

The Guest Services Team encompasses areas such as Coffee Ministry, Greeting Team, Hospitality, Event planning, and the APP Team. These volunteers are instrumental in making ILPC a welcoming place for families.   • Children's Ministry

Our Children's department (birth - 5th grade) is growing and is always in search of people with a heart for children. The opportunities to serve go beyond just being a group leader.   • Student Ministry

The Refinery at ILPC is packed on Wednesday nights with students (6th - 12th grade) seeking to learn more about God. Volunteers are needed for small group leaders, but also for action-packed social events that welcome students and families onto our campus.   • Creative Team

The Creative Team is made up of a mixture of 'on stage' and 'behind the scenes' volunteers. Areas of serving on the Creative Team include our Musicians, Praise Team, Sound/Media/Tech Team, Stage Set Design, and Drama. All these elements combine to bring you a high caliber experience to our Sunday Morning worship and beyond.   • Community Garden

If you have a green thumb, know a lot about plants, or just love to garden, we'd love for you to join us in the ILPC Community Garden!   • NEXT After School Program

NEXT is offered at ILPC Monday - Friday after school and includes snack, homework help, track opportunities tailored to kids interests, and enrichment activities. Contact Angie DeCarlo at: next@indianlakepeninsula.com

  • WEE Weekday Education Preschool

Often referred to as a "Mother's Day Out" program, WEE strives to provide a quality preschool experience in a loving Christian environment. Ages 4 months - PreK. Contact Angie DeCarlo at: wee@indianlakepeninsula.com

  • Backpack Program

A program that provides students in need of nourishment with easy to prepare food for the weekend. A full zip lock bag of food goes home Friday in their backpack. Contact Saundra Eversole at: saundraeversole@gmail.com

  • Nursing Home Ministry 

A worship service and devotional held at National Healthcare (NHC) in Hendersonville on the fourth Sunday of each month. Sing hymns and be a blessing to a senior. Contact Mary Anne Mercill at: mamercill@bellsouth.net

  • Jail Ministry

A mentor program designed to minister to those who have found themselves in trouble. Prayer support, book studies, and a friendly influence makes all the difference. Contact Wendy Swaby at: wendy@indianlakepeninsula.com

  • Hendersonville Samaritan Center

A crisis agency supporting Hendersonville residents finding themselves in unusual financial crisis. Assistance with utilities, food, and clothing. Volunteers always needed! Contact LeEllen Claud at: 615-824-7105

Global Missions

ILPC supports many global mission operations. While you may or may not be ever reach an international field, you CAN volunteer by way of prayer and financial support!

  • Miles for Missions

Did you know if you were to lay quarter the length of a mile, you would have $15,840!! Drop your quarters in the jug at the Compassionate Hearted Connection Point. This offering is divided among all Mission Outreaches of ILPC.

  • Guatemala Mission Trip

Each summer, a group of ILPC volunteers head to Guatemala for a week long mission experience at Casa Para Ninos Aleluya, a remote orphanage and school. The team leads worship with children, and delivers gifts of necessities, as well as toys. We will have an information meeting on Jan.24th at 7pm in the ILPC Common Grounds.   • Sarah Godwin, Bridges International

Sarah Godwin works with Bridges International located in Boston, MA. This is an outreach organization connection with international university students as they enter the U.S. for education. Sarah reaches these students for Christ, and has the opportunity to influence their path.
